Double pass master class in Ekstraklasa comes to an end

Coaches, directors of training, and heads of youth academies from Ekstraklasa received their certificates, signaling the completion of the first stage of training led by double pass. The Master Class Academy Management - Poland, began in April 2017 and was headed by double pass experts for a total of 90 hours.

 

Each of the clubs taking part in the workshops received a  certificate of completion, handed over by the double pass CEO, Hugo Schoukens. 

 

Collaboration between Ekstraklasa S.A. and double pass is an innovative process in Polish football. The goal is to optimize long-term player development by raising the bar of the academy work in the different clubs. A first stage in this process has been the  education of the Academy directors of all Ekstraklasa clubs.  The Master Class is based on international standards and years of experience which double pass has gained in Belgium, Germany, England, Denmark, USA and Japan. One of the benefits of this system is its flexibility, and capability to adapt to new trends in world football. 

 

The Belgian company is a team of about 60 experts with experience in football: from sports and academy directors to athletic trainers and former players.

Double pass functions as a consultant in terms of advising on how to implement and have success with academies. The methodology double pass uses is also  used by Belgian, American, Danish and German football federations, as well as by Bundesliga, the Premier League, and the J.League. The goal of the system is the development of youth academies, training larger numbers of high quality players, and raising the transfer fee of future homegrown players raised in the academy. 

 

The next step in the collaboration with double pass will be decided by the LOTTO Ekstraklasa clubs.
