After finishing his work with the Polish youth national team, Adam Majewski returned to PKO Bank Polski Ekstraklasa. The 52-year-old coach signed a contract with the club from his hometown - Wisła Płock.
Adam Majewski began his playing and coaching career at Wisła Płock. In his hometown, he played for the club between 1991-1995, 2004, 2006-2007, and also 2009-2010, before joining the coaching staff. For a long period he worked as an assistant and coach of the reserve team, but he only took charge of a first team in the Ekstraklasa after moving to Mielec. Now he has returned to the city where he was born to independently manage Wisła Płock at the highest level of competition. At the club he replaced Mariusz Misiura, who last season guided the then-promoted side to 8th place in the table at the end of the campaign. Adam Majewski has signed a contract valid until 30 June 2028 with the option to extend the cooperation by one further season.
