Once again, the President of the Association, Cezary Kulesza, will sit on the Ekstraklasa Supervisory Board as a representative of the PZPN.
- We have behind us a season full of challenges, emotions and achievements, concluded with the highest stadium attendance in history and record viewership. Alongside their duties at clubs, which occupy most of us on a daily basis, the members of the Supervisory Board also had to find time for many important league projects. These frequently required increased commitment, responsibility and a bold vision for the future. This year, in cooperation with the Supervisory Board, Ekstraklasa undertook many important activities as part of the process of selling media rights for the next period from the 2027/28 season, began construction of the new Live Park media centre worth approximately 20 million euros, the Double Pass programme was implemented and we have already completed its first year of operation. All these projects and a number of others carried out during the past season will have an impact on the development of Ekstraklasa in the future. I would like to thank you today for that contribution and substantive cooperation during the last season - said Karol Klimczak, Chairman of the Ekstraklasa SA Supervisory Board.
The newly elected Supervisory Board will begin its term at the beginning of July this year, at which point its presidium will also be constituted. Until then, the supervisory body remains the Board operating in the 2025/26 season. In the second half of June, it will hold one more meeting.
The election of members of the Ekstraklasa Supervisory Board takes place every year on the basis of the company's statutes. According to its provisions, guaranteed seats on the supervisory body are held by representatives of the four best clubs from the previous season, as well as a representative of the Polski Związek Piłki Nożnej. The remaining clubs elect two members to represent them on the Board.
